Modern-day Nazis like to think of themselves as intelligent, exceptional, decent, courageous and masculine (honest and practical). They believe that they have insights into human nature that others lack, and are being persecuted for it (which is a reasonable assumption, in of itself). This means that arguments against Nazism must reveal it to be fairly normal for the time period, and similar to other belief systems that Nazis tend to hate.
Pedophilia is usually thought to be either something you either have or don’t, but it’s actually one end of a spectrum, with homosexuality on the positive end, and heterosexuality in the middle. Being “straight” has always been substantially perverted, because women have always been infantilised. This has made gays, like Jews, a massive embarrassment to the majority, and even more to the powerful, since pedophilia is the main way in which power corrupts.
It’s therefore not surprising that Adolf Hitler liked girlish women, like Eva Braun, and hated gay men. This is surely also why she believed in traditional gender roles, since they assume women are just children psychologically.
There are many references to Hitler arguing against Bolshevism, and yet the Soviet Union was a close ally to Nazi Germany, for many years before the surprise attack of Operation Barbarossa. Clearly Josef Stalin understood the Nazis’ need for anti-Communist propaganda, in order to seize and maintain power, and such lies were not an impediment to the two dictators friendship. Of course, Hitler couldn’t stand being the number two dictator in the Soviet system, and so had to attack her friend and rival.
Nazism is after all merely westernised Bolshevism. Less violent in every relevant way, than the Soviet Union was. The hypocrisy of modern day Nazis in hating other Communists, and vice versa, is breathtaking in it’s historical ignorance.
It was the Catholics who actually invented antisemitism, and the two millennia long persecution of Jews. Muslims and Protestants later followed, and then also Nazis and Bolsheviks. What they all have in common is a much less sane culture, compared to Judaism. Since it’s much older, it cannot help be a massive embarrassment, especially given how successful Jews often are. It’s interesting to note that most ordinary people don’t feel Jews to be different to themselves: it’s really only those corrupted by power who hate them. They hate Jews as an alternative to hating themselves, and their inferior religions.
Putting millions of people in gas chambers is clearly evil, but who were the Allies to judge? The Nazis merely had a different definition of “mental illness” and “criminal insanity”. They can hardly be blamed, by the deeply schizophrenic and profoundly cruel standards of the time, for considering Judaism a severe form of “mental illness”, when homosexuality was also similarly persecuted. What if there had been 6 million gay men in occupied Europe, who were easy to identify and threatening to somehow naturally reproduce with each other? Would the non-Nazi European (or American) psychiatrists of the 1930s, have demanded they all be institutionalised, or would euthanasia have been considered a more practical option? It certainly would have been better for most of the victims, than spending the rest of their lives in psychiatric institutions, and all being experimented on.
Most people hate Nazism and Nazis, but don’t know why. They of course believe it’s because of what the Nazis did, but that can’t be true, since even worse atrocities were committed by the Soviet Union, which is barely hated at all. There’s also that of the medieval Catholics, both medieval and modern Muslims, medieval Protestants, Chinese Communists, (radical) Feminists, etc. None of these religions are hated like Nazism is.
No, the reason why people today still hate Nazism so much, even though Nazis are a tiny minority in most nations, is that they are honest with their unscientific beliefs and desire for power and injustice. This is an embarrassment to Communists of various kinds, who have also recently begun to openly hate Jews as well.
