In the aftermath of the 7th of October 2023, when Hamas murdered over 1200 Israelis, Israel has been targeting their mortal enemies in Gaza at a greater rate. This military action is actually a form of genocide, since it will inevitably, if continued, lead to the killing of the large majority of the Gazan people. I say this not to condemn Israel, but rather Hamas, since the Israelis really have no choice - with the death of every terrorist, another Gazan takes her place. We need to ask ourselves what we would do if forced to live in such a situation. Would we really tolerate living right next door to a large population that intensely hates us, without even a national border for protection?
For decades, most members of the intelligentsia have supported the so called Two-State Solution - a proposal based on the assumption that the conflict is between “Palestinians” and Israelis. But what if it’s actually an ancient holy war waged by Muslims against Jews? What if the Arabs who support Hamas are behaving rather like the supporters of Adolf Hitler did? Can we really expect a population of Jews to be magnanimous in the face of millions of neo-Nazis, who won’t even surrender to a clearly superior force? What we need is a real solution, based on the lessons of history. What the Middle East needs is not a border between Israel and “Palestine”, but one between Jews and Muslims.
The border must be fair enough to both sides, and fairly simple. This requires us to be honest about the nature of the conflict, and utilise the existing national borders. Ie. the so called “Palestinians” must be forcibly relocated.
There are at least three basic ways to go about this. The ideal (and naive) method would be to ask for Islamic nations to volunteer, but any that did so would be persecuted and shamed by the majority that refused. Another method would be to simply dump them in the Kingdom of Jordan, since there are already so many “Palestinians” living there. However, this would be unfair to the people of Jordan, and would destabilise the Israeli-Jordanian border.
The only solution is therefore for us, that is Western nations, to take them. This will of course significantly raise the rate of terrorism in our nations, but it shouldn’t be too great, since we can blame the necessary suffering (of not being able to live under Islamic Sharia Law) on all the Islamic nations that refused to relocate their own people. If it is done quickly, and with a clear global commitment, there will be no point in Islamic organisations protesting and actively fighting against it. Once it has been done, the border of a larger Israel will be permanently and clearly established, hopefully recognised by every nation.
If this seems too radical, bear in mind that the longer we wait, the more the “Palestinians” will be forced to suffer - since the Israelis are unlikely to ever allow their democracy to be so undermined by millions of fanatical Muslims as many other Western nations have. If we don’t help them, the “Palestinians” will simply have to be exterminated, just as so many Nazis were during World War Two.
